Quiet often we build long-term, close relationships with our clients and they share their inner most secrets with us.
If you have always loved playing with your dolls, sisters or friends hair then this is the career for you with a very clear progression route from junior to senior stylist.
You can choose to work in a salon, freelance, as a session stylist, in the media, and have a very realistic chance of owning your own business by the time you’re 30.
Our Tutors are all ITEC approved to deliver the courses, as is our Academy – with a fully equipped hair salon, and plenty of help and support, this is an opportunity that shouldn’t be missed.
ITEC has been awarding high quality and respected industry qualifications since 1947. It is now one of the world’s leading and most successful awarding bodies specialising in the Hairdressing sectors. All ITEC qualifications are aligned to the National Qualifications Framework Ireland (NQAI).
Here at The Deep End Training Academy we believe that hands on experience is invaluable in this industry, especially during the training period. We run the course in The Academy on Mondays and Tuesdays, and students will be required to work under supervision in the Salon on a Friday or Saturday on a rota basis as part of their course. This will allow you to get the valuable work experience you will need to gain confidence when starting work.
This award is recognised in over 38 countries worldwide and is regarded highly in the industry for its standards. No matter where you study an ITEC qualification, the syllabus, theoretical testing and practical assessment is always the same.
